Brookland Drive Project
Rear outdoor living area constructed using Merbau hardwood decking installed on a H4 treated structural subframe, suitable for low-level decking and built in accordance with Australian standards.
The project also included a custom LOSP-treated timber open pergola positioned over the deck to create a defined outdoor entertaining space while still allowing natural light through. The structure was designed to work with the layout of the home and provide a practical extension of the indoor living area.
Careful attention was given to framing, layout and finishing details to ensure the space is both functional and built to last, providing the homeowners with a durable outdoor area for relaxing and entertaining.
West Street Project
Construction of a composite decking area installed over an aluminium subframe system, providing a stable and low-maintenance outdoor surface. The aluminium subframe was selected to offer long-term structural reliability while eliminating common issues associated with traditional timber framing.
The deck was finished with a picture-frame border detail to give the space clean, defined lines and a neat transition around the perimeter.
Built beneath the existing pergola, the finished deck creates a practical outdoor living area that ties in seamlessly with the home and surrounding garden
Peel Street Project
Complete rebuild of an existing deck to create a safer and more functional outdoor living area. The project involved full removal of the original structure and construction of a new hardwood deck designed to better suit the layout of the home.
As part of the rebuild, a new access ramp was installed to improve usability and accessibility to the outdoor area. A federation-style timber balustrade was also added, complementing the character of the home while providing the required safety and compliance.
The finished deck provides a generous outdoor space that connects seamlessly with the home and surrounding garden, while maintaining the traditional style of the property.
